Counseling Services of Lancaster is working with students, pushing parent education, and supporting new vape detectors now installed across the district to curb addiction and health risks. 
• Indian Land woman killed by her own vehicle at apartment complex: Coroner (qcnews.com) — A 63-year-old Indian Land woman died Wednesday evening after her car, left in reverse in a Madison Ridge Apartments parking lot, rolled and fatally injured her as she tried to stop it. The South Carolina Highway Patrol and Lancaster County Coroner’s Office are investigating the tragic accident involving multiple parked vehicles.
