• 'A national championship-winning coach': Coastal picks Chris Lemonis to lead baseball program (postandcourier.com) — A Mullins pitcher, Colby Richardson, is among at least 24 Coastal Carolina baseball players entering the transfer portal to follow former coach Kevin Schnall to the University of South Carolina. Coastal quickly filled the vacancy by hiring Myrtle Beach native and 2021 national championship coach Chris Lemonis, but he inherits a depleted roster after the mass departures.
