• Colleton County launches water safety training program (live5news.com) — Colleton County is launching its low-cost Splash into Safety water training in Walterboro next week, giving local families access to 30-minute sessions for just $5 at the Colleton County Recreation Center. Using a mobile pool and YMCA instructors, the program teaches kids and their guardians basic water safety, CPR, and how to prevent drownings before the course shifts to St. George later in June.
