• Construction season includes Hwy 11 (garretsongazette.com) — Drivers in and around Brandon should prepare for a major, yearlong Highway 11 project just north of town, including bridge replacements and a raised intersection at 258th Street to reduce flooding. Detours will shift over time to nearby routes like 478th, 486th and 487th Avenues, with work running into summer 2027. Local railroad crossing replacements will also briefly disrupt travel.
