Sioux Falls police seeking suspects in pair of weekend shootings (siouxfallslive.com) — Police are investigating two separate shootings in central Sioux Falls after gunfire was reported early Saturday near 13th Street and Walts Avenue and again that evening near 12th Street and Summit Avenue. No injuries or property damage have been reported, but detectives are still looking for suspects, including a silver SUV seen leaving the first scene.
   

2. Sioux Falls man arrested after argument leads to shots fired early Monday (dakotanewsnow.com) — A Sioux Falls man was arrested early Monday after police say an argument outside a northwest Sioux Falls home escalated into multiple gunshots. Officers later found the suspect walking on North Spring Avenue and arrested him on aggravated assault, firearm, and drug charges; no injuries or property damage were reported.
   

3. 3 lanes open as N. Veterans Parkway wraps up (keloland.com) — North Veterans Parkway in eastern Sioux Falls now has three lanes open in each direction between I-90 and 57th Street, easing a major commuter route. Construction continues between 6th and 18th Streets, with completion expected in November, and includes new bike paths, safer crossings, and long-term structural improvements designed to keep traffic moving efficiently for years.
   

4. New ownership, same B&G Milkyway (dakotanewsnow.com) — The B&G Milkyway at Cliff Avenue and 69th Street in Sioux Falls now belongs to Celebrate Church, but longtime customers are promised the same ice cream, treats, and staff. Profits from the shop will be reinvested into community needs, including support for local schools, programs, and youth leadership development for its 50 part-time employees.
   

5. The demand for large office spaces, call centers (keloland.com) — Citibank is listing more than 85,000 square feet for lease at its newer Sioux Falls campus while its former north-side location, now owned by Vern Eide, awaits redevelopment. Local brokers say big call-center style offices face high vacancies but growing interest, with several large Sioux Falls properties recently sold and likely to be repurposed or demolished.
