• TDOT commissioner defends I-24 Choice Lanes project, addresses tolls, property impacts (newschannel5.com) — South Nashville residents, especially in Glencliff, could see homes and properties affected as TDOT advances its I-24 Choice Lanes toll project between Nashville and Murfreesboro. State officials say a private consortium will fund construction in exchange for toll revenue, while promising more public meetings, compensation for impacted owners, and free access for transit buses before an expected opening in the early 2030s.
