• Memphis Drone Deputy Flushes Out Homicide Suspect In Goodlett Farms Woods (hoodline.com) — A Shelby County Sheriff’s deputy was honored at the Arlington substation on April 15 for using a drone to help locate a homicide suspect hiding in woods near Goodlett Farms Parkway and Whitten Road back in February. The department says Deputy Joshua Keith’s quick drone deployment helped safely guide officers to the suspect and highlights how aerial tools are becoming routine in local law enforcement searches.
