• Tennessee firefighters to battle Ross Fire in Texas (dailydispatch.com) — Brentwood firefighters are among Tennessee crews heading to Texas to help battle the Ross Fire, joining units from Franklin, Knoxville, and several other communities. The deployment, expected to last 10 to 14 days, will see local personnel staffing stations and supporting wildfire efforts near Fort Worth as part of a statewide mutual-aid response.
