• Tennessee Senate votes to expand school voucher program (wkrn.com) — A statewide school voucher expansion just passed the Tennessee Senate, and Calhoun’s own Sen. Adam Lowe spoke in favor of it, arguing parents know best where children should learn. The bill would add 15,000 new scholarships to last year’s 20,000, and now must be reconciled with the House version before going to the governor.
