• Lincoln County Resident Dies After Ingesting Illegal Narcotic (thunder1320.com) — A Lincoln County man died after reportedly ingesting an illegal narcotic and being taken to the hospital in Fayetteville, prompting an active investigation. Deputies from Lincoln and Franklin counties later searched a Huntland home, seizing suspected drugs, guns, and paraphernalia and arresting three men on multiple drug and firearm charges. Authorities are still working to determine the source of the narcotics.
