The longtime music lover and storyteller is remembered for his easy smile, deep friendships across several states, and enduring devotion to family. 
2. Luke Bryan's son is a 3-star QB who just beat the team Philip Rivers coaches (usatoday.com) — Franklin's Battle Ground Academy and its three-star quarterback Bo Bryan grabbed national attention after he threw for 375 yards and three touchdowns in a 41–18 win over Philip Rivers' St. Michael Catholic team. The senior signal-caller, Luke Bryan's son, already holds offers from Austin Peay, UT Martin, and North Alabama as BGA eyes future matchups.

NBA Star Trey Jemison and Alex Jean Glover Had a Major Wedding Surprise (entertainmentnow.com) — Franklin's Southall Meadows just hosted a star-studded celebration for NBA player Trey Jemison and sports broadcaster Alex Jean Glover, where guests learned the couple had secretly eloped in Antigua a year earlier. The pair chose the Franklin venue for its drivable location, leaning into a Western-chic theme with live music, a mechanical bull, and a relaxed, party-first reception.

Gladys Mae Belew (williamsonsource.com) — Franklin residents are invited to honor longtime community member Gladys Mae Belew at a memorial service on Saturday, August 29, at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, with visitation beginning an hour earlier. Her family recalls her decades of devotion to loved ones, her faith, and the joyful traditions she helped build after moving to Franklin in 2004.

- This cat was at our door in cottonwood this morning.
Friendly, ear clipped. She's gone how but hopefully she'll find her way home. (Nextdoor Cottonwood) - Adrian Johnson and his team came by today to move our couch to the third floor of our home.
The "professional" movers we hired had previously said it wouldn't fit up the stairs but Adrian made it look easy. He also didn't charge a 2 or 3… (Nextdoor Stream Valley)
