• Former Tennessee church finance pastor charged with stealing more than $350,000 (roysreport.com) — A former financial stewardship pastor at Southall Church in Franklin is accused of stealing more than $350,000 over several years and has been indicted on a felony theft charge. Williamson County deputies arrested the White House resident on September 10, and he's due in Circuit Court on September 30. Authorities have not detailed how the money was taken or whether any funds were recovered.
   

• Pilgrimage Festival announces 2027 comeback (mtsusidelines.com) — Franklin residents can look forward to the Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival returning to the Park at Harlandale Farm on April 10-11, 2027, after this year's cancellation. Organizers are shifting the traditionally September event to April to rework the fairgrounds and promise new sights, sounds, and surprises for local music fans.
