Tips from Behavior Bear as the new school year is upon us:

Positive behaviors like listening, following directions, sharing, and cooperating help children stay engaged in learning, reduce classroom disruptions, and create a better learning environment for everyone.

Teaching children good behavior is about much more than helping them follow rules. Good behavior provides the foundation for strong character, healthy relationships, academic success, and responsible citizenship. When children learn positive behaviors early in life, they develop habits that can benefit them for a lifetime. Take it from me, Behavior Bear!

Something to think about, as a parent, how many times have you said to your child, "You better behave?!" I'm guilty of this when our kids were young and I was, too!! Behave when you're at grandma's house, or Behave when you're at the park, etc. But, what does that even mean, Behave?
