Public Notices Week of June 11, 2026 (mainstreetmediatn.com) — Gallatin residents are being notified of multiple local legal matters, from estate creditor deadlines and juvenile court hearings to a July 7 foreclosure sale on Memory Lane and a June 26 towing lien sale. The city is also seeking public comments on its 2026 CDBG-funded action plan, taking bids for concrete and sewer upgrades, and holding a June 25 zoning appeals hearing on housing and worship uses. Several Sumner County bid requests based in Gallatin could affect local services and infrastructure.

South Water Manor Hosts Community Heroes Day Celebration (sumnercountysource.com) — South Water Manor on South Water Avenue in Gallatin is hosting a Community Heroes Day this Saturday, June 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Families can enjoy vendors, kids’ activities, live music, and food trucks, while the first 500 first responders, active military, and veterans receive a free meal as a thank-you for their service.

4. Gallatin man indicted on theft charge from employer (mainstreetmediatn.com) — A 52-year-old Gallatin man has been indicted on a theft charge after investigators say roofing supplies worth over $40,000 were taken from a Hendersonville warehouse and resold. He was arrested June 5, faces an additional identity theft charge, and is scheduled for a Circuit Court appearance on July 23.

5. 16 Tennessee Hospitals Warned By Trump Administration To Provide Pricing Transparency (tennesseeconservativenews.com) — Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin is among 16 Tennessee hospitals warned by the Trump administration to post clear, upfront pricing or risk fines up to $2 million a year. Federal officials say patients and employers can overpay when costs aren’t transparent, and Sumner Regional now faces pressure to improve its online price disclosures. The list also includes hospitals in Nashville, Cookeville, Knoxville, Memphis, and other cities.
