• 50th Annual Macon County Hillbilly Days, June 18-20 (maconcountychronicle.com) — Macon County Hillbilly Days marks its 50th year at Key Park in Lafayette from June 18–20, packing three days with pageants, food contests, live music, disc golf, and kids’ activities. Proceeds support the Lafayette Lions and Lioness Lions Clubs, and organizers urge families to bring lawn chairs, enjoy the entertainment, and even share local history with the Macon County Historical Society’s booth.
