• Spring 2026 Dean's Lists (grundycountyherald.com) — Monteagle students are well represented on area colleges’ Spring 2026 Dean’s Lists, including Cory Nunley at MTSU and Josie Layne at the University of Tennessee. Dozens of neighboring Grundy County students from Tracy City, Coalmont, Altamont, Gruetli-Laager, Pelham, Palmer, and Beersheba Springs also earned honors for strong academic performance this semester. 
• Leadership Grundy presents class of 2026 (grundycountyherald.com) — Leadership Grundy’s latest class graduated May 22 at the Grundy County Armory in Monteagle, celebrating 16 residents who completed months of leadership and community-focused training. Graduates raised over $11,000 to help rebuild the Grundy County Saddle Club pole barn in Tracy City, and applications are now open for the 2027 program beginning this fall.
