• DA: Roane County man convicted of holding woman captive on Christmas Eve (wbir.com) — A Roane County jury has convicted a man in connection with a violent 2022 incident inside a Rockwood home, after the victim later sought help at the Rockwood Police Department. Jurors found him guilty of aggravated kidnapping, domestic assault, assault and theft, and he now faces up to 12 years in state prison following an earlier federal sentence in a separate drug case.
