• Death of 2-year-old under investigation (roanecounty.com) — Law enforcement is investigating the death of a 2-year-old that occurred earlier this month near Rockwood, with no charges filed so far. Roane County officials are awaiting detailed toxicology results, including specialized testing for newer drugs, which could take weeks and will help determine whether any charges are ultimately brought.
