Council members also heard how joining a new Parker County Public Utility Agency, at a projected $20,000 yearly cost, could secure long-term water supplies by coordinating with nearby cities like Weatherford and Willow Park.
   

• Palmer excluded from lawsuit discussions (community-news.com) — A regional annexation lawsuit involving Willow Park, Aledo, and Fort Worth has intensified, with Willow Park’s mayor excluded from closed-door discussions and council members seeking a joint meeting with Aledo’s council to work toward a settlement. The meeting also touched on data center limits, street repair funding, a donated patrol vehicle for Aledo ISD police, staff pay studies, and a proposed Parker County water supply agency that would include Aledo as a potential partner.
