• Alvin ISD trustees approve flat budget for FY 2026-27 (communityimpact.com) — Alvin ISD has adopted a flat $381.4 million budget for 2026-27 while projecting a $1.1353 tax rate that would put the median homeowner’s school tax bill near $2,670. Trustees folded in a 3% cost-of-living raise for employees and will finalize the tax rate after certified property values arrive in late July.
