• AHS offers virtual program (postsignal.com) — Starting this fall, Aubrey High School students can choose new hybrid and fully virtual options through Aubrey ISD’s Chaparral Course Connection, while remaining eligible for fine arts, UIL sports, and CTE pathways. District leaders say the flexible program is designed for growing, busy, or homeschooling-leaning families and will evolve based on feedback during its inaugural year.
   

• Muralist returns to Aubrey (postsignal.com) — A colorful new mural is transforming the downtown Aubrey fire station, celebrating local firefighters, police, and parks staff with detailed, historically accurate imagery and fun “Nut House” Easter eggs. Artist Odessa Helm, who previously painted the Municipal Development District mural, returned with her family to add Texas wildflowers, local logos, and a star marking Aubrey’s place in the state.
   

• Aubrey softball welcomes new head coach (postsignal.com) — Aubrey ISD has promoted assistant coach Tatum Dobson to lead the Lady Chaparrals softball program following longtime coach James Ramsey’s retirement. With a strong playing and coaching background and support from district leaders, Dobson says she’s ready to uphold Aubrey’s winning tradition while prioritizing players as people, students, and then athletes.
