• Bastrop repeals B3 code, adopts new development regulations (statesman.com) — Bastrop has officially scrapped its controversial B3 development code and adopted a new Bastrop Development Code that uses traditional zoning and clearer standards for land use, parking, and trees. City leaders say the in-house code should speed permits, protect historic downtown, and give property owners more flexibility, while inviting residents to report any hardships to guide future tweaks.
