USDA to host three roundtables in South Texas (texasfarmbureau.org) — Federal agriculture officials are coming to Beeville on June 15 for a USDA roundtable at the Blue Ribbon Country Store, giving local farmers and rural stakeholders a direct line to decision-makers. The 2:30 p.m. meeting will focus on South Texas rural priorities, with similar sessions following in Corpus Christi and Pearsall.

Beeville council recognizes officers for fire response, flood rescue, service (southtexasnews.com) — Beeville residents should know that City Council has formally honored several police officers for quick action during a recent house fire and two dangerous flooding incidents in town. From containing flames on West Diaz Street to rescuing stranded motorists and a child from rising water, officials say the officers’ preparation and teamwork helped keep neighbors safe during severe weather emergencies.
   

3. Father charged after baby found dead in Beeville (kiiitv.com) — Beeville neighbors should be aware that police arrested a father after a baby was found dead Thursday at a home on East Widhelm Street near North Archer. Beeville’s police chief says detectives, assisted by a Texas Ranger, are investigating, and the man now faces multiple charges, including capital murder of a child under 10.
   

4. Patty Partlow Adair (southtexasnews.com) — Beeville friends are mourning Patty Partlow Adair, a 1958 A.C. Jones graduate and longtime St. Joseph’s Catholic Church staff member who never stopped cherishing this community, even after moving to San Antonio. A funeral Mass will be held June 20 at St. Joseph’s in Beeville, where family and friends can celebrate her faith-filled, family-centered life.
