• Wichita County Judge breaks down budget updates, burn ban response (texomashomepage.com) — Wichita County leaders have set a $1.4 million budget for the new Burkburnett Annex, meaning local residents will soon see construction begin on an upgraded county facility in town. While work is underway, Burkburnett residents must use temporary local offices for Justice of the Peace services and travel to nearby cities for tax office needs, and they’ll also see the county’s burn ban lifted after recent rains.
