Machine Sciences Corporation and Elite Metal Finishing will both lease space at the Cedar Tech I development near the city's northern border, expanding Cedar Park's role in aerospace and defense manufacturing.
   

2. Cedar Park and Temple Police Department arrest 3 after vehicle pursuit (kcentv.com) — Cedar Park police say a July vehicle chase through town led to the recovery of illegal modified firearms and a months-long investigation that ended with three arrests in Temple on September 16. Working with Temple police and federal partners, detectives linked the suspects to additional violent crimes, underscoring ongoing efforts to keep Cedar Park residents safer from gun-related gang activity.
   

3. Who's Hiring, Who's Firing: Factory Floors Expand as Office Systems Contract Executive Summary (whatjobs.com) — Cedar Park is slated to gain 70 new full-time manufacturing jobs as Machine Sciences Corporation invests nearly $32 million in a 48,000-square-foot precision components facility here. The project, part of a broader national shift toward advanced manufacturing and defense-related production, promises above-average wages and could strengthen the city's role in aerospace and space-industry supply chains.
   

4.
