Conroe ISD receives overall B rating for third consecutive year from Texas Education Agency (communityimpact.com) — Conroe ISD has earned an overall B rating from the Texas Education Agency for the third straight year, with several campuses improving their scores. Sixty-six schools were rated, including standout gains at Lamar Elementary, Stockton Junior High, and Moorhead Junior High, giving Conroe families a clearer picture of how local campuses are performing. 
2. Conroe Symphony Orchestra America 250 Proceeds Donated to MCVMC (montgomerycountynews.net) — Conroe Symphony Orchestra has donated $8,000 from its America 250 concert to support the growing Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Commission campus, including the new museum and education center. The veterans park is adding a Sanctuary Garden, quonset hut meeting space, and more exhibits, with 9/11 and Veterans Day ceremonies scheduled this fall and open to local residents.

4. "It's Making People Less Safe": Houston DA Warns ICE Arrest of Witness Threatens Cases (latintimes.com) — A key shooting witness is now being held by ICE in Conroe's Montgomery Processing Center, raising alarms that immigrants across Greater Houston may fear calling police. Harris County's district attorney and local advocates warn that detaining cooperative witnesses could undermine prosecutions and public safety, even as officials dispute who tipped off ICE and how agents moved in so quickly.
