Corpus Christi, Port of Corpus Christi partner on bayfront project to protect against storm surge (kiiitv.com) — Corpus Christi officials have approved a $30 million bayfront project to strengthen shoreline flood protection and extend the pedestrian promenade near downtown, aiming to guard against storm surge that could inundate the city center. In partnership with the Port of Corpus Christi, the plan will raise the seawall, improve Ship Channel operations, and connect future Harbor Point amenities, with construction expected from 2027 through 2028.
   

4. Identity Crisis Book US Tour Dates (ghostcultmag.com) — Corpus Christi alternative grunge trio Identity Crisis is hitting the road this November, including a hometown show at House of Rock on November 12. The tour supports their new EP, Starve, which blends classic grunge grit with a modern edge. Fans can already stream the record and grab tickets online ahead of the band's Texas dates.
   

5. El Bolillo Bakery eyes $6M Corpus Christi expansion (mysanantonio.com) — Corpus Christi could soon gain a major new bakery production facility, as El Bolillo Bakery considers a $6 million investment that would convert a former Walgreens on Morgan Avenue into a regional hub. A proposed $363,000 Type B incentive and 121 new jobs are on the table, with city economic development leaders set to review the project this week.
