• Dallas approves $1.4 million settlement to end Home Depot relocation lawsuit (dallasnews.com) — Corsicana residents are seeing closure in the long-running fight over Home Depot’s move, as Dallas has now approved a $1.4 million settlement to end the lawsuit brought by Corsicana, Navarro County, and Navarro College. The case stemmed from Dallas incentives that drew a Home Depot distribution center, and roughly 180 jobs, away from Corsicana after local entities had granted tax breaks to keep the warehouse here.
