Woman sentenced after plea deal in El Paso officer-injury crash case (kvia.com) — An El Paso woman has been sentenced after admitting she stole an SUV, fled from officers, and crashed into an El Paso Police vehicle, injuring two officers. Court records show Vanessa Loreli Ronnebaum received multiple five-year prison terms for evading arrest and aggravated assault on public servants, plus 18 months in state jail for the theft charge.
   

2. El Paso police seek ID of suspect in Mission Valley OXXO burglary on Gateway East (kfoxtv.com) — El Paso police and Crime Stoppers are asking for your help identifying a man who burglarized the OXXO at 8160 Gateway East in Mission Valley, smashing the glass door and stealing cigarettes and vapes. The suspect, described as a White or Hispanic man with a light complexion and medium-to-large build, fled on foot. Anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 915-566-8477 could earn a cash reward.
   

3. 9 Overtime Game of the Week 5: Eastlake vs. Eastwood (ktsm.com) — High school football fans in El Paso can pack Trooper Stadium Friday night as Eastwood hosts undefeated Eastlake in both teams' first District 1-6A matchup. Eastwood looks to defend its district title after a 3-1 start, while Eastlake rides a 4-0 run with a high-powered offense. Kickoff is at 7 p.m., with highlights airing on KTSM's 9 Overtime at 10:15 p.m.
   

4. The Node is helping bring El Pasoans together (kvia.com) — In El Paso's Cimarron Park and other local spots, The Node is giving young adults new ways to meet friends and potential dates through relaxed, activity-based gatherings. Co-founder Sarah Martinez says even nervous first-timers usually warm up within minutes, leaving events grateful for the chance to connect with fellow El Pasoans.
   

5. Man arrested in connection with April robbery in Socorro (kvia.com) — Socorro police say they've arrested 22-year-old Christopher Aaron Olivas in connection with an April aggravated robbery at the Murphy USA on Alameda, thanks in part to tips after Crime Stoppers of El Paso highlighted the case. Investigators, Texas Rangers and DPS tracked him down at a construction site on Michelangelo Drive in East El Paso. Officials credit community cooperation and interagency teamwork for closing the case.
