The treatment aims to offer stronger, less frequent dosing than Spinraza and is being tested in several Phase 3 studies, potentially expanding options for local families affected by spinal muscular atrophy. 
• Tia Simpson and Collin Erickson (norfolkdailynews.com) — A Flower Mound family is celebrating as their son, Collin Erickson, married Tia Simpson in a February ceremony at Talking Stick Golf Club in Scottsdale. His parents, Andy and Kirstin Erickson of Flower Mound, and groomsman Evan O’Donley of Flower Mound joined relatives and friends from across the country for the festivities. The newlyweds now live in North Scottsdale.
