City of Fort Worth Releases Fourth of July Closures
Most city offices, including City Hall, will be closed Friday, July 3, for the Independence Day holiday.

The city put the details in a Wednesday blog post. According to the post, most city offices, including City Hall, will be closed Friday, July 3, for the Independence Day holiday. Emergency services will be available as usual.
Solid waste: Residential collections, including garbage, recycling, yard waste, and bulk waste, will operate as usual on Friday, July 3.

Animal Care & Control: The Chuck & Brenda Silcox Center (4900 Martin St.) and Henry's Animal Campus (351 Hillshire Dr.) will be closed July 4. PetSmart Everyday Adoption Centers at Alliance and Hulen will be open 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
All Fort Worth Public Library locations will be closed on July 4.

Recreational amenities: All community centers and the Haws Athletic Center will be closed on Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4. Additionally, McLeland Tennis Center and Log Cabin Village will be open on July 3 but closed on July 4.
Water utility: Access the Water Department's automatic system for payments and account inquiries or report emergencies by calling the 24-hour call center at 817-392-4477.
Public transit: Trinity Metro will provide free rides on all local Tarrant County services on July 4. Trinity Metro buses and On-Demand paratransit will operate on Sunday schedules.
Bus route 46 will offer extended late-night service to accommodate guests enjoying Fort Worth's Fourth of July fireworks show at Panther Island. Trinity Metro TEXRail will operate on a regular schedule.
