The City of Fort Worth is releasing its Memorial Day closure schedule. Most city offices, including City Hall, will be closed on May 25.The city published a <a href="https://www.fortworthtexas.gov/news/2026/5/memorial-day" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">blog post</a> with the closure schedule on Wednesday. According to the post, emergency services will be available as usual.When it comes to solid waste, there will be no changes in garbage, recycling, yard waste, or bulk collection schedules. Drop-off stations and the Environmental Collection Center will be closed. Anyone with questions or in need of assistance should call 817-392-1234.All Fort Worth Public Library locations will be closed. Additionally, the Chuck &amp; Brenda Silcox Center and Henry's Animal Campus will be closed. PetSmart Everyday Adoption Centers at Alliance and Hulen will be open from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.Most community centers, Haws Athletic Center, and Log Cabin Village will be closed May 25. Victory Forest, Chisholm Trail, Diamond Hill, and Betsy Price community centers will remain open.
