• Dow begins notifying 4,500 workers about impending layoffs (kfdm.com) — Dow has started notifying about 4,500 employees worldwide of layoffs, and while the company confirms cuts at its Orange site, it also notes additional Southeast Texas locations in Lake Jackson and Freeport without giving site-specific details.
