• Harris County launches domestic violence co-response team (communityimpact.com) — A new Harris County pilot program in Precinct 4 aims to better protect domestic violence survivors in communities like Jersey Village by pairing warrant-serving deputies with victim advocates. The VIPER and SMART teams will target the top 100 wanted domestic violence offenders while helping survivors quickly find safety, shelter, and long-term support as part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month efforts.
