The program offers play-based, STEM-focused early learning for eligible 3- and 4-year-olds, while a parallel partnership in Sugar Land expands access for families tied to Harmony School of Excellence–Sugar Land Elementary.

Around the world: Katy ISD ‘Destination Imagination' teams earn four top 10 finishes at global finals (katytimes.com) — Katy ISD students just brought home four Top 10 finishes from the 2026 Destination Imagination Global Finals in Kansas City, showcasing creativity and problem-solving on an international stage. Teams from Morton Ranch, Cinco Ranch, Beck, Katy, Taylor, McMeans, Adams, Kilpatrick and Wolman were recognized, with The Nerd Herd placing second globally in the Improvisational – Casting Shadows challenge.

Katy Student Wins at World's Largest Science Fair (thekatynews.com) — A Katy-based high school researcher, Vivian Liu, has earned international recognition for developing a low-cost sensor to detect waterborne toxins, taking a 3rd Grand Award in Engineering Technology at the 2026 Regeneron ISEF in Phoenix. Her path to the world’s largest pre-college science fair included top honors at regional Texas competitions and multiple specialty awards, spotlighting standout STEM talent from Katy.
