• Betty Jo Martin McGuire, 92 (advancemonticellonian.com) — Lago Vista residents are connected to the life of 92-year-old Betty Jo Martin McGuire through her daughter and son-in-law, Tamra and Glen Mullen, who live in town. Betty recently passed away in Round Rock after a long, community-focused life in Mississippi and Arkansas, and her funeral service will be held June 13 at Monticello Church of Christ in Arkansas.
