Currywood, who has taught in several Liberty Hill elementary schools, champions inclusion and life skills alongside academics, and will now represent the district in the regional Teacher of the Year competition this summer.
   

• Costco-anchored tiny Texas town scores another $3M retail investment amid boom (mysanantonio.com) — Liberty Hill is set to gain two new $1.5 million retail shell buildings at 8935 State Highway 29, adding to the city’s rapid commercial growth alongside Costco and Target. Construction is expected to start in September and run through July 2027, though specific future tenants haven’t been announced yet.
