• Lindale woman killed on Toll 49 after hitting a guardrail, 2nd fatal wreck on road in past week (ketk.com) — A 60-year-old Lindale woman, Christi Kay Gross, died after her SUV hit a guardrail and rolled off Toll 49 on Sunday afternoon, marking the second fatal wreck on that road in four days. DPS troopers are still investigating the cause, following another recent Toll 49 crash that killed a motorcyclist after a pickup made an illegal U-turn.
