While the funds canāt be used directly for the Restoring Feagin Hall campaign, they arrive as ETBU works to revive the historic residence hall and deepen its Christ-centered mission.

MARSHALL PRIDE: Eight Mavs sign to continue academic, athletic careers at next level (marshallnewsmessenger.com) ā Eight Marshall High School Mavericks have officially signed to continue their athletic and academic careers at colleges ranging from Wiley University to East Texas Baptist University and Jacksonville College. Coaches celebrated first-ever signees in their programs and praised how these Marshall athletes, from basketball and soccer to track and dance, are setting an example for younger students who dream of competing at the next level.

3. Grant helps Marshall make progress on water repairs, improvements (kltv.com) ā Marshallās recent water main breaks are getting a boost toward permanent fixes thanks to a $50,000 emergency grant from the Sabine River Authority. City engineers are planning costly reroutes and specialized repairs on major lines near Highway 80, Highway 43, and Spring Street, while the City Council works to secure additional funding to keep water flowing reliably.
