The Dallas Watermelon Dash returns to Bachman Lake Park on Sunday, August 23, inviting runners, walkers, and families to celebrate the season with an unforgettable morning of fitness, community, and giving back. This event is presented by Lonestar Running Company (LRC).

"We invite everyone to join us for the final event in our Dallas Summer Series, regardless of fitness level," said Randi Schooley, co-founder of Lonestar Running Company. "It's a great opportunity to get active, connect with the community and celebrate your accomplishment with a refreshing slice of watermelon at the finish line."

Participants can choose from a 5K or Kids/Family 1K, then enjoy post-race festivities and an awards ceremony. Whether you're chasing a personal best or simply making memories, the Watermelon Dash offers something for every age and fitness ability.
