• Fire destroys home plus garage near Lake Dunlap; One resident treated for smoke inhalation (seguintoday.com) — McQueeney Volunteer Fire Department was among several agencies that battled a Tuesday night blaze destroying a home and detached garage near FM 725 and Leisure Village Drive by Lake Dunlap. One resident was treated and released for minor smoke inhalation, FM 725 was closed for about two and a half hours for water supply lines, and the fire’s cause remains under investigation.
