• Nederland Post Office New Location Announced (panews.com) — Nederland residents will see their post office move from 223 N. 14th St. to a larger space at 1031 Nederland Ave. in the Exygon shopping center, likely opening within the next 12 months. Postal services will continue at the current site until construction is finished, and officials say the new location should offer better parking and operational efficiency for the community. 
• New details about Beaumont teen charged with capital murder at 'makeshift' Houston club (kfdm.com) — Law enforcement agencies, including Nederland Police through the SETX Violent Crime Task Force, helped capture a Beaumont 19-year-old now charged with capital murder in a 2024 Houston club shooting that killed two teens and injured four others. Houston police say more than a year of investigation led them to the suspect, who was arrested in Beaumont and is jailed in Jefferson County.
