• Plano ISD Sued by Mothers Over Alleged Takeover of Choir Booster Club (offthepress.com) — Plano ISD is facing a federal lawsuit from Jasper High School choir booster club mothers who say the district tried to seize control of their independent nonprofit and triggered wrongful theft arrests later rejected by a grand jury. The suit challenges Plano ISD's booster-club policies and alleges constitutional violations, claiming parents were retaliated against for resisting district oversight of their organization's funds and operations.
