• Buc-ee's to close one of its smallest shops after 26 years (mysanantonio.com) — Port Lavaca’s longtime Buc-ee’s on West Main Street is set to close and be converted into a 7-Eleven with a Laredo Taco shop, though no timeline is announced yet. The 26-year-old travel center never became one of the chain’s mega-stores but has been a familiar stop at the edge of town, so the rebrand could noticeably change a regular fuel, snack, and taco option for local drivers.
