• $23.4 Million Old Settlers Boulevard Extension Marks Completion in Round Rock (myneighborhoodnews.com) — Drivers in eastern Round Rock now have a new four‑lane Old Settlers Boulevard extension between North Red Bud Lane and County Road 110, complete with sidewalks, a shared‑use path and a new signalized crosswalk. Funded jointly by Williamson County and the City of Round Rock, the $23.4 million project aims to ease congestion and improve safety for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians.

• Former TX TV anchor completes book on forgotten Round Rock icon (lmtonline.com) — A new biography will spotlight Barbette, a groundbreaking drag and circus performer who grew up in Round Rock and later became an international star. Author and former TV anchor John‑Carlos Estrada began his research at the Williamson Museum in Round Rock and now supports the local Barbette Bash fundraiser with Round Rock Pride, aiming to preserve overlooked LGBTQ+ history.
