During the first week after tagging, residents and businesses can get free cleanup help from Neighborhood Services, which may include power washing or solvent treatments to restore walls without mismatched paint.

• Austin Community College Unveils New Automotive Technology Facility in Round Rock, Texas (ratchetandwrench.com) — Austin Community College has opened a new Automotive Technology facility at its Round Rock campus, giving local students hands-on training in high-demand repair and maintenance skills. The site will also host what officials say is Texas' only electric-vehicle maintenance program, positioning Round Rock as a regional hub for future-focused automotive careers and advanced manufacturing expansion.

• 410 homes coming to Pearson Ranch in Northwest Austin (communityimpact.com) — A major new neighborhood with 410 homes is planned at Pearson Ranch near SH 45 and Parmer, just southwest of Round Rock, with construction starting in early 2027. The project will add townhomes, single-family homes, a community amenity center, and access to 15 acres of parkland and Austin's trail system, plus a separate 342-unit apartment development.
