• Spring ISD One Of 14 Texas School Districts That Could Face State Takeover (iheart.com) — Spring ISD is among 14 Texas districts that could face a state takeover in 2027, with Salyers Elementary and Bammel Middle under particular scrutiny. District leaders have until September 11 to appeal, as state officials warn that repeated low ratings could trigger state control as early as June next year, directly impacting Spring families and students. 
• Jim Parsons to Reunite With Klein Oak High School for Arts Education Benefit (broadwayworld.com) — Klein Oak High School in Spring will host a special arts education fundraiser this December, bringing actor Jim Parsons back to the campus where his theater career began. Joined by former classmates and theater professionals, he'll help raise money for the Maestro Arts Project, which supports Texas arts educators and students with training, scholarships, and creative opportunities.
