• UH and Plug and Play Bootcamp Helps Emerging Entrepreneurs Take Ideas Forward (uh.edu) — Sugar Land is hosting a new wave of UH entrepreneurs through a Smart Cities-backed partnership with venture firm Plug and Play, centered at the UH Sugar Land campus. A recent three-day Summer Innovation Bootcamp in the city walked students and faculty from idea to investor-style pitch, with plans for follow-on accelerator programs and a fall Plug and Play summit.
