Texas A&M-Texarkana launches new M.S. in Engineering Management (ktalnews.com) — Texas A&M University–Texarkana is launching its first graduate engineering degree, a Master of Science in Engineering Management, starting in Fall 2026, giving local STEM professionals a new path into leadership roles. With five specialized concentrations shaped by input from area industries, the program aims to upskill Texarkana’s workforce and strengthen regional economic growth through advanced technical and management training.
   

2. Bail At Half Million For Man Accused Of Abusing Texarkana Infant (txktoday.com) — A man is being held on $500,000 bail in connection with serious injuries to a Texarkana infant, including a skull fracture and older healing fractures discovered by doctors. Texarkana Texas Police investigators say the baby was alone with the suspect for several hours on June 4 before being taken to an emergency room and later transferred to Children’s Hospital in Little Rock.
   

3. Arkansas State Police pursue Texarkana teenager across state lines (arkansasonline.com) — A 17-year-old from Texarkana, Arkansas was arrested after allegedly leading Arkansas State Police on a chase that crossed into Texarkana and ended with a tactical stop on West 11th Street. Texarkana Texas officers, aided by city employees, later tracked him on foot near West Ninth and Main, where he was taken into custody and booked into Bi-State Jail on multiple charges.
   

4. F3 Texarkana: Forging leaders with fitness, fellowship, faith (ktalnews.com) — Before most of Texarkana wakes up, F3 Texarkana is already gathering men for free outdoor workouts that blend fitness, fellowship, and faith. The group meets at multiple sites around town, welcoming all fitness levels while focusing on leadership, accountability, and breaking through isolation. Locals can find times and locations on F3 Texarkana’s website and Facebook page.
