• Wichita Falls restaurant closes in the wake of health inspection (timesrecordnews.com) — A downtown Wichita Falls spot, The Loft at Picker’s on Indiana Avenue, has voluntarily closed after a health inspection scored it 71 and flagged a ceiling leak as an imminent hazard. The Wichita Falls–Wichita County Public Health District says the restaurant must repair the leak, undergo pest treatment, deep clean, and pass reinspection before reopening to customers.
   

• New public art gallery opens inside Wichita County Courthouse (newschannel6now.com) — A new public art gallery is now open on the third floor of the Wichita County Courthouse in Wichita Falls, giving residents a free weekday spot to explore local history through the Janet Campbell watercolor collection. Created with help from the Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture, the space is meant to make the courthouse feel more welcoming and reflective of the community’s story.
   

• Inflation leading to grocery prices steadily rising (newschannel6now.com) — Rising inflation is pushing grocery prices higher for Wichita Falls and Texoma families, with an MSU agribusiness instructor pointing to fuel costs, supply chain issues, and smaller beef herds as key drivers. He says our agriculture- and energy-tied local economy means ranchers’ and farmers’ struggles quickly reach your checkout total, and suggests cooking at home more often to soften the blow.
