The proposed regulations would require conditional use permits, tie housing to Economic Development Corporation projects, and mandate site cleanup after workers leave, aiming to protect neighborhoods and control housing impacts.

BBB warns about company with Wichita Falls address selling medication (timesrecordnews.com) — Wichita Falls residents are being urged to be cautious about ordering weight loss medications from DSO Fine Shrimp LLC, which does business as CoreAge RX and uses a Wichita Falls address tied to a package forwarding service. The local BBB says the company has an F rating, unresolved complaints about undelivered orders and refunds, and questions about licensing and physician oversight, and it has not responded to inquiries.
   

3. Wichita Falls man arrested after flipping wheelchair user out of chair (newschannel6now.com) — A Wichita Falls man has been arrested after police say he dumped a wheelchair user out of his chair during a confrontation on Burnett Street. According to WFPD, the suspect faces charges including injury to a disabled individual, public intoxication, and resisting arrest, and is being held in Wichita County Jail on a bond totaling $17,935.
   

4. North Central Texas sheriffs form coalition, strengthen rural voices (texomashomepage.com) — Law enforcement leaders met in Wichita Falls this week to launch the North Central Texas Sheriff’s Coalition, giving rural counties like Archer, Wichita, and Jack a stronger voice in Austin. Sheriffs say banding together will help them address shared public safety challenges and ensure smaller communities aren’t overlooked in statewide decisions affecting resources and policy.
