• Lightning strike sparks attic fire at Lorena home; neighbors say five other houses struck in recent years (kwtx.com) — A Lorena renter says a lightning strike sparked an attic fire that left their Park Meadows home unlivable, and notes they live between fire stations in Lorena and Woodway. Firefighters quickly contained the blaze, no one was hurt, but the young couple plans to relocate. Neighbors report several other nearby homes have been hit by lightning in recent years.
